What is Memoware Personal Edition?
Memoware Personal Edition is an application designed to enable you to send short message services (SMS's) from your PC rather than your mobile phone. The major advantages from sending messages using Memoware are:
- The speed at which you can type a message using a keyboard as opposed to a mobile phone
- The price at which SMS's cost using Memoware (11c AUD messages)
- Supports selected international destinations at no additional cost
Memoware Personal Edition includes all of the advanced features of modern mobile phones plus much more, including multiple individual recipients, groups and address book. Unlike some other web-based SMS tools, Memoware does not add advertising to your messages - ever.
The Memoware server holds all of information so no matter where your running Memoware Personal Edition, all of your information is available.
No. SMS Credits have no expiry date on them, once you have brought credits, you can use them as quickly or slowly as you lile.
How many credits does it take to send a SMS?
Each "Credit" can be thought of as a single SMS. Therefore if your SMS is 160 characters or less it will take one credit. If your SMS exceeds 160 characters then multiple credits will be used. Just like sending SMS's from your mobile phone handset.
Can I receive SMS's using Memoware Personal Edition?
No. Memoware Personal Edition sends SMS's only. When Memoware Personal Edition sends an SMS it will appear to have come from your own mobile phone. Any reply SMS's that your message receives will be sent to your mobile phone handset.
People who receive messages sent from a Memoware Personal Edition account will not know the SMS did not come from your own phone.
